Design Philosophy: A Modern Monolith
VELA is a clear statement. The lamp balances the heavy presence of concrete with the delicate nature of light. Inspired by classic architecture, its continuous fluted structure creates a refined interplay of light and shadow. VELA is more than just a functional object; it is a sculptural pillar that unites traditional craft with modern innovation.

Material & Atmosphere
The solid, hand-poured concrete base provides a grounded stability and a raw, honest aesthetic. In contrast, the 3D-printed body features a specialized matte finish with a parchment-like texture. This surface diffuses the light with exceptional softness, filling the room with a warm, glare-free glow that accentuates the lamp’s structure and brings a sense of calm to any space.

Swiss Craftsmanship
Every VELA is personally handcrafted in my Swiss studio. By combining traditional concrete casting with precise 3D printing, each piece becomes a unique original. This is design with a personal signature – created for those who seek something extraordinary.
